Regarding the letter to the editor "Don’t believe media lies about Trump. Harris is the real threat." (Sept. 27): I could not agree more. I am 85 years old, so, like the letter writer, the election will have minimal impact on my future. But when I look at the facts and the effect inflation is having, especially on the lower and middle class as a result of the policies of the last three-and-half years, I can't imagine voters who blindly cast their vote based on party loyalty, sex, race, etc.
And when I read about the continuing fraud in St. ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëùµ¼º½ÍøÖ·, when a $17 million surplus goes to a $35 million deficit in school district, when $37 million grant money somehow seems to end up in politically connected family businesses, when food program for children ends up buying a $1 million home, I just wonder why the voters continue to reelect the same party. The citizens in the area deserve better.
